Earn the Credentials that Show Your Expertise in Professional Standards and Practices

It's the ultimate in professionalism--mastering proven, generally accepted purchasing practices and good management techniques. You can demonstrate your command of the profession through certification as either a Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) or a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) as offered through the Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council (UPPCC). NIGP's seminars and workshops can help provide the knowledge you need to sit for Certification exams.

According to national surveys, more and more employers are seeking people with certifications and making it a job requirement. Need more information on how to be become certified? Perhaps you are already certified and seeking information on recertification? Visit the UPPCC website  to download a copy of the Candidate's Handbook and other resources.
