The South Carolina Association of Governmental Purchasing Official’s (SCAGPO) Annual Professional Development Forum and Trade Show will be held November 15-17, 2017 at Myrtle Beach’s Marriott Resort and Spa at the Grand Dunes.

With your support, the last few years have been hugely successful and we look forward to your participation again this year.  For those of you who were unable to attend last year, we want to extend a special invitation for you to join your peers in showcasing your company’s products or services while meeting procurement professionals representing State Government, School Districts, City and County Governments, and Municipalities from around the State. This event will offer you a great opportunity for networking with these professionals. 

At a minimum, SCAGPO's Forum & Program Committees will provide for you, the same level of meaningful engagement as we have done in the past.  We will continue to offer our valued vendors training opportunities, networking time with procurement professionals, and ample time on the trade show floor; however, as we move closer to this year’s Forum, we will also be considering ways to enhance the vendor experience as well. 

SCAGPO's partnership levels shall remain $1500.00 - $5,000.00.  Please scroll down to find an explanation of these levels:

  • Platinum - $5,000.00
  • Gold - $3,500.00
  • Silver $2, 500.00
  • Bronze $1,500.00


You may also contact our Cosponsorship Committee Chairperson, Sam Hanvey regarding opportunities to Partner with us or to donate to our Silent Auction.

We found that it works well, therefore we will again allow vendors to choose their own booth!  As you are registering, we will ask you to give us (three) options to choose from.  Once your payment has been received and confirmed, we will assign your booth based on your choice of the booths remaining available. A copy of the Trade Show Map will be updated regularly and published in the document section below.  Please consult it before you begin registering in order choose the best  booth for your organization.  Because booth assignment will not be made until payment is received, we encourage you to pay online or forward your checks to our Treasurer as soon as possible.

Finally, we ask that you please adhere to our deadlines as follows:

  • Early Registration- August 15, 2017:  The ($700.00) registration fee is discounted to $600.00 until this date.  All payments receive after 5:00 pm on August 14, 2017 will not received the $100.00 discount.

  • Late Registration-  October 1, 2017:  The registration fee is substantially greater after this date. Please make sure your registrations and payments are received in order to avoid paying more.

  • Registration Closes- October 15, 2017:  We will not make any exceptions to this registration closing.  Any changes made to your registration after this date will incur a $10.00 fee for processing of a new name badge and tickets. Again, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Message from Hotel:

Reservations for this group are to be made by using the Reservation link or calling 1-800-228-9290 and referencing the group code AGA . The reservations should be booked no later than October 1, 2017. The resort fee has been discounted to $5.00 per day for Conference attendees. All reservations need to be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival to avoid being charged 1 night room and tax. Thank you for choosing the Myrtle Beach Marriott.
